Critics are calling out UFC fighter Josh Hokit for vile comments he made about former first lady Michelle Obama after winning his bout at the White House event held on President Donald Trump’s 80th birthday.
Post-Fight Interview Sparks Outrage
“And lastly, Michelle Obama is a man. Am I right, America?” he told Joe Rogan during his post-match interview, conducted in the Octagon that had been set up on the White House lawn. Trump was in attendance at the event.

Hokit's History of Antics
Hokit has a history of over-the-top antics. He appeared to throw up on himself a little during his weigh-in on Friday, saying “maybe I was out drinking,” but fans weren’t convinced and thought it was fake. He also has a long history of ugly and racist comments, and accusing women of being men appears to be one of his go-to insults.

Critics on social media called him out over his attack on Obama. Eric Michael Garcia tweeted, “Absolutely disgusting.” Jessica Tarlov called it “Absolute trash.” Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta wrote, “This POS was literally drooling and throwing up on himself yesterday, and today is shucking/jiving for Trump’s bitcoin.” Nikki McCann Ramírez described it as “Absolute end of empire nonsense.” Veterans For Responsible Leadership said, “This is MAGA. The absolute worst of America.” Brian J. Karem, who has covered every president since Ronald Reagan, stated, “I can honestly say that not once in 40 years have I ever thought I would see anything like this on the South Lawn of the White House.” Call to Activism posted, “OMG. A fighter just declared ‘Michelle Obama is a man’ on the White House lawn as Joe Rogan chuckles.
