Second Epstein Accuser Alleges She Was Sent to UK for Encounter with Prince Andrew

A second woman who has accused the late financier Jeffrey Epstein of sexual abuse has come forward with allegations involving Britain's Prince Andrew, according to a report from the BBC. The woman's U.S. lawyer stated that she was allegedly sent to the United Kingdom specifically for a sexual encounter with the former royal.

Details of the Alleged Encounter

The lawyer for the accuser told the BBC that the alleged incident took place in 2010 at Prince Andrew's residence on the Windsor estate, located west of London. At the time of the purported encounter, the woman was in her twenties. This new account emerges as part of ongoing investigations into Epstein's extensive network of abuse.

Brad Edwards, from the Florida legal firm Edwards Henderson, provided details about the allegations. He stated that after spending the night with Andrew, the woman reported being given a tour of Buckingham Palace. Edwards represents numerous survivors of Epstein's abuse and indicated he is considering filing a civil lawsuit on behalf of this client.

Broader Context of Epstein Investigations

This latest allegation surfaces following the U.S. Justice Department's release of a substantial new batch of documents related to the Epstein case. These documents include photographs showing Andrew kneeling over a woman lying on the floor, as well as emails from 2010 between Epstein and Andrew discussing dinner arrangements with a young Russian woman.

U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer has publicly stated that Prince Andrew should comply with requests to testify before the U.S. Congress regarding Epstein's crimes. The pressure on Andrew has intensified with each new revelation about his connections to the convicted sex offender.

Previous Allegations and Royal Consequences

The new claim comes more than a decade after initial sexual assault accusations against Andrew by Virginia Giuffre, another Epstein accuser, became public. Giuffre, who died by suicide last year, alleged she was trafficked to have sex with Andrew on three occasions, including twice when she was just 17 years old.

After Giuffre launched a lawsuit against him, Andrew settled the case in 2022 with a multi-million-pound payment while making no admission of guilt. The controversy led to significant consequences for the former prince within the royal family.

Royal Fallout and Ongoing Scrutiny

King Charles III stripped his brother of royal titles and honors late last year following the detailed allegations in Giuffre's posthumous memoir. Andrew had already stepped back from royal duties in 2019 amid the growing scandal surrounding his friendship with Epstein.

Prince Andrew has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing related to Epstein and could not be reached for comment on these latest allegations. However, the former prince maintained his friendship with Epstein even after the financier pleaded guilty in Florida in 2008 to soliciting a minor for prostitution.

Epstein died by suicide in jail in 2019 while awaiting trial for sex crimes against minors. The ongoing release of documents and emergence of new accusers continues to keep the scandal in the public eye, with Andrew facing renewed scrutiny over his connections to the disgraced financier.
