MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace couldn't stop herself from laughing on Wednesday over the way Donald Trump's Cabinet members fawned over him during his latest Cabinet meeting.
Wallace's Reaction to the Montage
The “Deadline: White House” anchor aired a montage of Trump officials praising and flattering the president, something that has become a familiar theme of the get-togethers. After the clip played, Wallace covered her face with her hand and laughed.
“I had to make sure that was real. I did not believe that was real. You know, AI is everywhere and I thought that was AI. I didn’t think that that was real. I didn’t think people could actually act that way in front of a president sitting at about 32%,” she said.
Wallace's Analysis
“That was real and with hard-hitting Cabinet officials like those it’s no wonder Donald Trump thinks the country’s hot right now and that America is experiencing some sort of golden age,” she continued. Wallace suggested Trump may be being hidden from how Americans truly feel about his second term or he’s just “in denial.”
