Innisfil Launches Community-Wide Pothole Blitz to Tackle 900 Road Damages
Innisfil Pothole Blitz Targets 900 Road Damages

The Town of Innisfil is preparing to launch a community-wide Pothole Blitz to address road damage caused by this season’s repeated freeze–thaw cycles. The initiative targets approximately 900 potholes across the municipality, aiming to restore safe driving conditions and prevent further deterioration of road surfaces.

Scope of the Blitz

Crews will focus on major arterial roads and residential streets, prioritizing the most hazardous potholes first. The blitz is expected to last several weeks, weather permitting. Town officials have urged residents to report potholes via the municipal website or app to assist in prioritizing repairs.

Community Impact

Freeze-thaw cycles have been particularly severe this season, leading to an unusually high number of potholes. The blitz is part of a broader infrastructure maintenance plan. Mayor Lynn Dollin stated, “We understand how frustrating potholes are for drivers. This blitz demonstrates our commitment to keeping our roads safe.”
