A dirt bike rider sustained critical injuries in a crash in Cambridge, Ontario, on Monday afternoon. Emergency crews responded to the scene near the intersection of Hespeler Road and Franklin Boulevard around 2:30 p.m.

The rider, whose identity has not been released, was airlifted to a trauma centre in Hamilton. Police say the crash involved only the dirt bike and no other vehicles.
