A 48-year-old man from Brampton has died following a single-vehicle crash on Highway 410 in Mississauga early Saturday morning, according to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
Details of the Incident
The crash occurred around 2:30 a.m. on May 30, 2026, on the northbound lanes of Highway 410 near Derry Road. The vehicle, for reasons still under investigation, left the roadway and struck a concrete barrier. The driver, the sole occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

OPP officers from the Mississauga detachment responded to the scene. The highway was closed for several hours for investigation and cleanup, reopening around 7 a.m. Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
