Worker Hospitalized Following Industrial Incident

A man was transported to hospital with serious injuries on Friday, November 21, 2025, after being struck by a moving vehicle at a garage located in the Lachine borough of Montreal.

Incident Details and Emergency Response

The workplace accident occurred around 1 p.m. on Norman Street, near the intersection with Richer Street and close to Highway 20. Upon the arrival of emergency services, the victim was assessed and found to be in serious condition. However, by approximately 4 p.m., authorities updated his status, indicating they no longer feared for his life.

Montreal police officers attended the scene and assisted in establishing a security perimeter. Constable Jean-Pierre Brabant confirmed that the incident is not expected to result in any criminal charges.
