The incident occurred recently, and authorities have released images of both the suspect and a vehicle believed to be involved.

The OPP report that the seller arranged to meet the buyer in Kemptville to complete the sale of an e-bike. During the exchange, the suspect allegedly provided counterfeit Canadian banknotes as payment. The seller only later discovered the cash was fake and promptly contacted police.
Suspect Description
The suspect is described as a man with a slim build, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and a baseball cap. Investigators have also released photos of a vehicle—a dark-colored sedan with tinted windows—that may be connected to the case.
