According to police, a male suspect consumed a meal and then fled without paying the $50 tab. Staff provided a description of the suspect, and officers located him nearby a short time later.
Arrest and Charges
The suspect, a 34-year-old Guelph man, was arrested without incident. He has been charged with fraud under $5,000 and theft. Police did not release his name pending a court appearance. The restaurant recovered the unpaid bill amount.
