Owen Sound police have seized 36 grams of fentanyl and more than $7,000 in cash after executing a search warrant at a residence, charging two individuals with possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking. The street value of the fentanyl is estimated at $15,000.

The search warrant was executed on June 25, 2026, at a home in Owen Sound. Police discovered the fentanyl packaged for sale, along with cash believed to be proceeds from drug trafficking. Two suspects, whose names have not been released, are facing charges.
