FPT Signs 3 Major Contracts for Agricultural Engines

FPT Industrial Announces Major Engine Supply Agreements at Global Trade Fair

FPT Industrial, the powertrain brand of Iveco Group N.V., has significantly strengthened its position in the agricultural sector by signing long-term supply contracts with three major international equipment manufacturers. The agreements with SDF, JCB, and Lindner were officially launched at Agritechnica 2025, the world's leading trade fair for agricultural machinery, which is being held in Hannover, Germany, until November 15th.

Recognition and Awards Highlight Engine Excellence

The company's technological prowess was further underscored at the event, where FPT engines were recognized for their contribution to three separate tractor models that won the prestigious Tractor of the Year® 2026 awards. The Claas Axion 9.450 Terra Trac, powered by an FPT CURSOR 9 engine, won the HighPower category. The New Holland T4.120 F Auto Command, equipped with an FPT F36 engine, secured the Specialised Tractor award. Finally, the JCB New Fastrac 6300, which uses FPT's N67 engine, was awarded Sustainable Tractor of the Year.

Details of the New Strategic Partnerships

The newly signed contracts solidify FPT's role as a key technology partner for leading brands in the industry. SDF, a global leader in tractor production, has selected FPT's high-performance N67 engines to power its newly launched DEUTZ-FAHR 8 series TTV tractor range.

Similarly, JCB, a major force in agricultural and construction equipment, has chosen the same N67 engine for its Fastrac 6000 series tractors, a decision driven by the engine's noted fuel efficiency and low operating costs.

For Lindner, a European specialist in tractors for Alpine farming, FPT will supply its N45 engines for the Lintrac 160 LDrive model, which represents the most powerful tractor in Lindner's history.

Leadership and Market Impact

Sylvain Blaise, President of Powertrain for Iveco Group, commented on the significance of these deals. He stated that the new partnerships are a clear external signal of the value FPT's engines bring to original equipment manufacturers across all markets. He added that this success inspires the internal team to continue its journey of innovation, quality, and sustainability.

FPT Industrial confirms its status as the largest independent powertrain manufacturer for agricultural equipment, powering more than 110,000 new vehicles annually. The company's market penetration is particularly strong in Europe, where one in every three tractors and two out of five combine harvesters rely on FPT engines.

Iveco Group N.V., the parent company, is a global leader in sustainable transportation and powertrain solutions, employing 36,000 people worldwide with 19 industrial sites and 30 research and development centers.
