Donald Trump has been extremely active on Truth Social, according to a new analysis by The Daily Beast. In May 2026, the president—or whoever controlled his account—shared a record 861 posts and reposts on his social media platform. This averages 27 posts per day, or more than one per hour.
Content of Trump's Posts
Trump's posts covered familiar themes and grievances. He promoted his administration's actions, attacked political opponents, and condemned former Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden. He also shared inflammatory memes and reposted AI-generated images and videos.
Among the more eyebrow-raising posts was an image depicting Democrats bathing in feces. In April, Trump shared 565 posts, including one controversially portraying himself as Jesus.
White House Response
White House spokesperson Olivia Wales told The Daily Beast on Tuesday that the reason for the record number of posts in May is that Trump's platform, whose finances have come under scrutiny recently, "has never been hotter." She added that Trump offers his "unfiltered and direct thoughts to the American people, without the biased media taking him out of context."
"The American people have never had a president as transparent as President Trump, who shares his thoughts with them in real time on all the important issues of the day," Wales claimed. "President Trump is a one-of-a-kind leader who has his finger on the pulse of the people better than any of his predecessors."
