Four men from Gatineau remain in custody following their arrests on charges related to sexual offences against minors, according to a May 27 statement from the Gatineau Police Service. The alleged incidents took place at a residence on Chemin de la Savane in the Gatineau sector.
Arrests and Charges
On May 21, police arrested Mohamed Doulde Sow, 28; Emmanuel Lokota-Sangwa, 31; and Jonathan Muanda-Kuika, 30. They appeared in court facing charges including sexual contact, sexual assault, incitement to sexual contact, and administering or attempting to administer a drug or substance.
The following day, May 22, police arrested Kouame Samuel Levi Minomekpo, 29, who also appeared in court on charges of administering or attempting to administer a drug or substance, sexual assault, and sexual assault with the participation of another person.
Victim Recruitment Methods
According to investigators, the four suspects allegedly approached victims aged 12 to 18 through social media platforms such as Snapchat and at shopping malls. The victims were then offered temporary accommodation and given intoxicating substances, police said.
The alleged offences occurred between late 2024 and May 22, 2026, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Appeal for Additional Victims
In the May 27 release, police expressed concerns that there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward. Anyone who believes they may have been victimized by these individuals is urged to contact the Gatineau police info line at 819-243-4636, option 5.
The four accused are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
