"When you get opportunities like that as a kicker, you dream about them," Whyte said after the game. "The snap was perfect, the hold was perfect, and I just did my job."

Quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. delivered a stellar performance for the Lions, completing 60% of his passes for 276 yards and two touchdowns. His connection with receiver Alexander Hollins proved particularly potent, with Hollins hauling in both touchdown passes and finishing with 70 receiving yards.
