The Edmonton Oilers have cancelled Friday's outdoor Tailgate Party in the ICE District Plaza due to high winds, as announced by the team. The decision comes as Environment Canada forecasts two to four centimetres of snow and wind gusts reaching up to 60 km/h, making outdoor gatherings unsafe.
Indoor Watch Party Proceeds
Despite the weather, fans can still enjoy the game indoors at Rogers Place, where the road game watch party will feature the matchup on the big screens. Tickets are available for $10, with remaining seats in sections 201 to 206, as well as 233 and 234, as of 3:45 p.m. Friday.
The Play Alberta Fan Park remains open, but entry requires registration for the Oilers fan loyalty program to gain admittance.
Game 3 Details
The Oilers face off against the Anaheim Ducks at 8 p.m. Friday for Game 3 of their first-round Western Conference playoff series. The teams split the first two games at Rogers Place, setting the stage for a crucial matchup on the road.
