Vancouver Rise forward Jessica De Filippo scored a dramatic stoppage-time goal to secure a 3-2 victory over AFC Toronto Roses in National Super League action on Saturday.
The match, played at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby, B.C., saw the Rise rally from a 2-1 deficit in the second half before De Filippo's late heroics.

Toronto opened the scoring in the 23rd minute through a well-placed shot from midfielder Sarah Stratigakis. Vancouver equalized just before halftime when forward Jordyn Huitema converted a penalty kick.
The Roses regained the lead in the 58th minute when Cloey Uddenberg found the back of the net. However, Vancouver responded quickly, with Quinn rising to head home a corner kick in the 67th minute to make it 2-2.
As the match appeared headed for a draw, De Filippo collected a loose ball in the box and fired a shot past Toronto goalkeeper Lysianne Proulx in the 92nd minute, sparking celebrations among the home fans.
