Bay FC Deepens Partnership with Contentstack for Enhanced Digital Fan Engagement

Bay FC, the professional women's soccer club representing the Bay Area in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL), has announced a significant expansion of its partnership with Contentstack as the team prepares for its third season in 2026. The collaboration evolves from Contentstack's initial role as an Official Partner during Bay FC's inaugural 2024 season to now powering the club's adaptive digital experience platform.

Building on Successful Digital Initiatives

The partnership builds upon the success of custom digital trading cards introduced during Bay FC's first season, which demonstrated how quickly dynamic digital experiences could be created and delivered to fans. During the Fan Appreciation Match presented by Contentstack in October 2024, these digital trading cards provided meaningful matchday experiences that delighted supporters while revealing broader opportunities for digital innovation.

"Success across sports requires pushing boundaries and ensuring that the fan experience extends beyond the stadium," said Stacy Johns, CEO of Bay FC. "Women's soccer is at a historic moment of growth, and our club is committed to keeping pace by ensuring our fans experience that same energy and urgency across every digital touchpoint."

Phased Rollout for 2026 Season

During the 2026 season, Bay FC will begin transitioning key fan-facing digital experiences to Contentstack's platform through a phased rollout. The initial focus will center on high-impact personalized journeys designed to drive awareness, engagement, and ticket sales. The club plans to leverage the platform's personalization and artificial intelligence capabilities to deliver increasingly tailored fan experiences.

Contentstack provides Bay FC's digital team with greater control over complex content campaigns, transforming updates that previously required extensive coordination into faster, more streamlined processes. The platform enables the team to launch custom promotions, refine ticket messaging and offerings, and test copy and imagery in real time during critical stretches of the season.

Supporting Club Growth and Expansion

Bay FC has ranked among the NWSL's top five in overall attendance during its first two seasons. As the club's visibility and supporter base continue expanding beyond the Bay Area, the need for a robust digital foundation matching that momentum has become increasingly important.

"We believed in Bay FC from the beginning," said Neha Sampat, CEO of Contentstack. "This is a club building with intention, and there is something really powerful working with an organization whose values and vision align closely with your own. We are proud to provide the digital foundation that helps Bay FC move at the speed of the match."

The partnership represents a strategic investment in digital infrastructure as women's soccer experiences unprecedented growth and fan engagement opportunities. By leveraging Contentstack's technology, Bay FC aims to create more personalized, responsive digital experiences that keep pace with the evolving expectations of modern sports fans while driving deeper engagement across all digital platforms.
