The Edmonton Oilers are on the lookout for new members of the Orange and Blue Crew, the team's in-game entertainment and ice maintenance team. Auditions for the 2026-27 season are scheduled for June 21 at Rogers Place.

Audition Details

According to the Oilers Entertainment Group (OEG), the auditions will feature a mix of team-building exercises, improvisation, icebreaker activities, on-ice skating drills, and other interactive evaluations. These are designed to assess candidates' energy, teamwork, communication, and engagement skills, as well as their ability to interact with fans.

Role Requirements

The Orange and Blue Crew handles off-ice giveaways during Oilers games and helps maintain the ice between TV timeouts. Members can also be booked for private events. The crew has been active since Rogers Place opened in 2016.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and pay a $20 fee to secure a spot. Off-ice roles will follow a standard audition format, while on-ice roles require two rounds of skating evaluations to test abilities. Applicants must specify which role they are trying out for. Successful candidates will then proceed to formal interviews.
