The Ottawa Police Service is requesting public assistance to locate a missing 15-year-old youth, Baza Araya. According to a news release issued on Wednesday, June 24, Araya was last seen in the area of Bank Street and Billings Bridge. Police noted that she regularly uses OC Transpo.
Description of the missing teen
Police described Araya as mixed race, standing five feet six inches tall with a thin build. She has long, dark hair and multiple ear piercings. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a grey tracksuit and light-coloured Crocs, and was carrying a grey Jordan backpack.

Anyone who sees Araya is asked to call 911 immediately so she can receive assistance. Individuals with information about her whereabouts can contact the Ottawa Police Service Missing Persons Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 2355.
