A 27-year-old man was struck by a vehicle while getting out of a parked car in Montreal North on Wednesday afternoon, according to Montreal police. The incident occurred around 12:45 p.m. on the corner of Saint-Germain Street and 33rd Avenue.
The victim was exiting his parked vehicle when he was hit by a passing car. He sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital. The driver of the vehicle that struck him remained on the scene and was treated for shock. No arrests have been made, and an investigation is underway.
Police are asking anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact them.
