Calgary police are investigating three separate vehicle collisions that occurred within a three-hour span on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, with impaired driving believed to be a factor in each incident.
Multi-Vehicle Crash on Deerfoot Trail
One of the most significant incidents involved a three-car crash on southbound Deerfoot Trail between 24 Street and Barlow Trail S.E. Emergency crews responded to the scene, where multiple vehicles were damaged. Fortunately, no life-threatening injuries were reported, though the collisions caused significant traffic disruptions during the evening commute.
Police Investigation Underway
Authorities have not released specific details about the other two crashes but confirmed that impaired driving is suspected in all three. The Calgary Police Service is urging anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward.
