Investigation Details
The body was found in a wooded area in Thornton, a community within the town of Innisfil, located about 80 kilometers north of Toronto. Police were called to the scene on the morning of June 2 after a passerby reported the discovery. The OPP's Criminal Investigation Branch took charge of the case, with assistance from the Forensic Identification Services unit.
An autopsy was conducted at the Office of the Chief Coroner in Toronto. The cause of death has not been released, and police have not disclosed whether foul play is suspected. The investigation remains ongoing.
