One person is in critical condition after a motorist struck a tree in Brampton on Saturday evening, Peel police reported.

The collision occurred at approximately 9 p.m. on June 20, 2026, in the area of Bovaird Drive and Chinguacousy Road. Emergency crews responded to find a vehicle that had left the roadway and collided with a tree. The driver, the sole occupant, was extricated from the vehicle and transported to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.
