Montreal police have arrested two individuals following reports of gunshots fired at a business on St-Laurent Boulevard near Prince-Arthur Street in the Plateau-Mont-Royal borough. The incident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday morning, with authorities confirming no injuries resulted from the shooting.

Around 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Montreal police received multiple emergency calls reporting the shooting incident. Police spokesperson Caroline Chèvrefils stated that officers arriving at the scene discovered shell casings and visible bullet impacts on the front window of the business. The suspects had already fled before police could intercept them.
The investigation involved thorough witness interviews and a comprehensive crime scene examination that included deployment of the canine unit. Through these efforts, police successfully identified two suspects: a 16-year-old teenager and a 20-year-old adult.
