Montreal police spokesperson Jean-Pierre Brabant confirmed that officers were alerted to the stabbing via a 2:15 a.m. 911 call. The victims, aged 34 and 48, were involved in an altercation with a suspect that began inside the nightclub before spilling outside onto the street.
"It appears that there was an altercation that escalated between those two men and the suspect, leading to the suspect stabbing both individuals," Brabant stated. He emphasized that the victims' lives are not considered to be in danger, providing some relief amid the violent episode.

Police have not yet identified the suspect involved in the stabbing, and an active investigation is underway to locate the individual responsible. Authorities are reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses to piece together the events that led to the violence.
