Police Investigate Suspicious Death in Northwest Edmonton
Edmonton Police Service has launched a homicide investigation after a man was found dead under suspicious circumstances in a northwest Edmonton residence. The discovery was made during a wellness check on Sunday evening, November 23, 2025.

Police responded to a wellness call at approximately 4:45 p.m. on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at a home located in the area of 157 Avenue and 130A Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of a man inside the property. EPS immediately deemed the circumstances surrounding the death as suspicious.
Homicide Section Takes Over Investigation
The case has been transferred to the EPS homicide section, which has taken charge of the ongoing investigation. Authorities have scheduled an autopsy for Thursday to determine the exact cause of death and gather further evidence.
