York Police Seek Suspect in Minor's Sex Assault; Massage Therapist Charged

York Regional Police have issued a public appeal for information and released images of a male suspect wanted in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a minor in Richmond Hill. The incident is reported to have occurred on December 10, 2025, at approximately 7:00 p.m.

Details of the Richmond Hill Investigation

According to investigators, the victim was at a business in the area of Red Maple Road and High Tech Road when an unknown male approached. It is alleged the suspect committed an indecent act and touched the victim for a sexual purpose.

Police describe the suspect as having a medium complexion, dark brown hair, and a moustache. He was last seen wearing distinctive clothing, including a mustard-coloured jacket, a dark undershirt, a grey tuque, and black shoes.

Massage Therapist Charged in Burlington

In a separate case, Halton Regional Police have laid a sexual assault charge against a registered massage therapist in Burlington. The accused, Li Ming "Leslie" Qu, 69, of Toronto, was arrested on Monday.

Police allege that a woman was sexually assaulted during a recent massage at the "Be Pampered Spa" located at 700 Guelph Line in Burlington. Qu was employed at that location and is also employed at a second "Be Pampered Spa" in the city.

Halton police believe there may be additional victims and are asking anyone with information to come forward. They can contact the Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit at 905-825-4777, extension 8970.

Peel Police Investigate Brampton Shooting

Meanwhile, Peel Regional Police are requesting public assistance regarding a shooting in Brampton earlier this month. The incident occurred on December 3, 2025, around 3:45 a.m., in the area of Martin Byrne Road and Countryside Drive.

Officers responded to reports of shots fired. While no injuries were reported, police have identified a suspect vehicle: a newer-model black Honda Civic. The vehicle was last seen travelling westbound on Countryside Drive.

Investigators warn that the suspect is believed to be armed and dangerous. The public is advised not to approach but to call 911 immediately if the vehicle or its occupants are spotted. Police are asking residents and business owners in the area to review any surveillance or dashcam footage from between 3:30 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. on December 3.
