Toronto Police are actively working to identify and locate a man wanted in connection with a sexual assault that occurred at the Kennedy GO station in early September. In a separate but concurrent investigation, authorities have also charged a man in relation to suspected hate-motivated death threats made online.

The suspect also exposed himself to the victim before fleeing the scene.

Investigators have released a description of the individual in hopes the public can assist. The suspect is described as:

  • Approximately 5-foot-8 in height with a medium build.
  • Has short, black hair.
  • Was last seen wearing a black tank top, blue shorts, and running shoes.

Police are urging anyone with information about this assault to come forward. Tips can be provided to the Toronto Police Service at 416-808-5200 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 416-222-8477 or online at 222tips.com.

Man charged in separate hate-motivated threats investigation

In an unrelated case, Toronto Police have laid charges following an investigation into threatening messages directed at the 2SLGBTQI+ communities. The investigation began after a threatening post was allegedly made on a social media platform on October 6, 2025.

As a result, Andrew Scott Carrick, 27, of Goodwood, Ontario (near Uxbridge), was arrested on Saturday, November 29. He has been charged with uttering death threats. Police are treating the incident as suspected to be hate-motivated.

Additional arrest in west-end sexual assault

In another development, a 24-year-old man turned himself in to police on Sunday, December 1, in connection with a sexual assault reported in Toronto's west end last week. The alleged incident took place around 9:25 p.m. on Thursday, November 28, as a victim was walking in the area of Bloor Street West and Brock Avenue, just west of Dufferin Street.

Anthony Birabwa, who police say is of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with one count of sexual assault.

These incidents highlight ongoing public safety and law enforcement efforts across the city. Authorities continue to encourage anyone with information on any crime to contact them or Crime Stoppers, reinforcing that community assistance is vital to resolving cases and holding perpetrators accountable.
