Authorities were called to the area of the 15th Sideroad and Dufferin Street around 7 a.m. on Sunday, November 9, 2025. Upon arrival, officers confirmed a shooting had taken place. To facilitate the investigation, police implemented road closures in the vicinity. A K9 unit was deployed to assist in tracking the suspect, with the search focusing on a residential area near Keele Street, south of 15th Sideroad.
