A Saskatoon man previously charged with inciting public hatred is now facing two new, serious hate crime allegations related to online anti-Semitic comments.
New Charges Filed in Saskatoon Court
According to court documents dated January 13, 2026, Brandon Taylor Moore, 45, has been charged with two additional offences. The first is the willful promotion of anti-Semitism by condoning, denying or downplaying the Holocaust. The second is willfully promoting hatred against an identifiable group.
The court alleges these new crimes occurred between February 1, 2024, and December 17, 2025.
Ongoing Police Investigation
The Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) confirmed their investigation started in 2024 after receiving a complaint about a person making anti-Semitic comments online. The SPS Hate Crime Unit identified Moore as a suspect.
Police executed a search warrant at his residence, where they seized digital evidence and a firearm. This led to his initial arrest in December 2025 on a charge of inciting hatred likely to lead to a breach of the peace, alongside a charge of careless storage of a firearm.
Next Steps in the Legal Process
Brandon Taylor Moore is currently out of custody and is scheduled to make his next court appearance at Saskatoon Provincial Court on February 24, 2026.
The case highlights the continued efforts of the Saskatoon Police Hate Crime Unit to investigate and prosecute individuals accused of spreading hatred online. The new charges reflect the serious nature of the allegations, particularly those involving the denial or downplaying of the Holocaust.
