The incident occurred on December 12, 2025, at approximately 12:48 p.m. According to a news release from the Calgary Police Service, an intoxicated man was observed in the Whitehorn area near a playground. Witnesses reported that the individual was "possibly recording children with a smartphone" before later being seen engaging in an indecent act in a public space.

The suspect reportedly left the scene after being approached by a member of the public. Despite extensive efforts, investigators have been unable to locate camera footage or clear images of the suspect, prompting the release of the composite sketch to advance the investigation.

Suspect Description and Appeal for Information

The suspect is described as a man between 70 and 80 years old, standing approximately five feet, six inches tall with a medium build and complexion. He has a distinctive beard with white tips, black roots, and noticeable brown and red patches.

At the time of the incident, he was wearing:

  • Black headphones
  • Navy-blue work pants
  • Black shoes
  • A black toque
  • A blue puffer jacket

He was also reportedly using a white and gold-colored smartphone.
