The Ottawa Police Service is turning to the public for help in a break-and-enter investigation, releasing images of four individuals believed to be connected to a residential crime in the city's Hintonburg area.

Search for Suspects After Overnight Incident

In a news release issued on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, investigators announced they are working to identify four people "possibly linked" to a break and enter that occurred on the 500 block of Kirkwood Avenue. The incident took place overnight between August 26 and 27, 2025.

Police revealed that the suspects were not only involved in the initial property crime but also quickly used payment cards stolen during the burglary. The group was captured using the stolen debit and credit cards to make purchases at various businesses in downtown Ottawa shortly after the break-in.

Descriptions of the Four Individuals

Authorities have provided detailed descriptions of each suspect, urging residents and business owners to review the information and contact police with any leads.

Suspect 1 is described as a white male, approximately 20 to 30 years old. During the transactions, he was seen wearing dark sunglasses, a large chain necklace, a dark hooded jacket, a red shirt, dark pants, and white running shoes.

Suspect 2 is described as a white female, also believed to be between 20 and 30 years old, with long brown hair. She was seen wearing distinctive purple pants and a black sports bra.

Suspect 3 is described as a white male, aged approximately 25 to 35 years old. He was identified as the driver of a grey Kia Forte connected to the suspects.

Suspect 4 is described as a white male, 25 to 35 years old, with a black beard. While making purchases, he wore a grey jacket, a black baseball cap, and dark sunglasses.
