Investigators in Toronto are intensifying their search for a man believed to be responsible for a violent double stabbing that occurred in the city's west end last autumn. The incident took place near the popular Liberty Village neighborhood, and authorities have now released surveillance images in hopes that the public can assist in identifying the individual.

Details of the October 2025 Stabbing Incident

According to Toronto Police, officers responded to a call reporting a stabbing in the area of Queen Street West and Abell Street, just west of Dovercourt Road, in the early hours of October 13, 2025. The altercation is said to have begun when the suspect, who was driving a vehicle with a male passenger, approached a group in the vicinity.

During the ensuing fight, the man reportedly produced a knife and stabbed two individuals from the opposing group. Following the attack, the assailant fled the scene in the vehicle along with his passenger.

Both victims sustained injuries described as non-life-threatening and were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The suspect vehicle has been identified as a dark-coloured Mazda CX9.
