Mississauga Home Shot Up Multiple Times in Targeted Attacks

Mississauga Home Becomes Target in Escalating Gun Violence Wave

A residential property on Kempton Park Drive in Mississauga has transformed into what authorities describe as ground zero for targeted violence, suffering four separate attacks since December 2025. The most recent incident left seven distinct bullet holes piercing through windows, creating what neighbors describe as a war zone appearance in what should be a quiet suburban neighborhood.

Multiple Attacks Leave Home Resembling Conflict Zone

Peel Regional Police confirm the home has been victimized through gunfire, property damage, and arson attempts on multiple occasions. Beyond the seven documented bullet penetrations, at least four additional windows were completely shot out and have since been boarded up. The garage door bears graffiti reading "Nestor The Theif" in blue paint, covering damage from an earlier attack.

"Fortunately, no injuries were reported," police stated, though investigators note the bullets were aimed directly into living spaces including bedrooms and main hallways. The precision of the attacks suggests this could have easily resulted in homicide, according to law enforcement sources.

Police Seek Masked Suspect in Stolen Vehicle

Investigators from the 11 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau have released details about a suspect vehicle captured on CCTV footage. Authorities are searching for a stolen black Honda CR-V SUV with Ontario license plate CFZY757, operated by a masked individual during one of the incidents.

Police are appealing to the public for assistance and encouraging anyone with information to contact investigators directly or reach out to Crime Stoppers anonymously. The repeated nature of the attacks suggests deliberate targeting of either the property or its occupants.

Broader Pattern of Extortion and Violence Across GTA

This incident occurs within a concerning trend of property-targeted shootings across the Greater Toronto Area. Police are examining potential connections to over 45 extortion investigations in the Caledon area alone since 2023. Recent months have seen similar attacks on businesses and homes throughout the region.

"Some of the shootings of homes and businesses are being investigated as potentially extortion plays," noted police representatives. "Others are believed to be payback efforts or intimidation." The pattern extends beyond residential properties to include schools and places of worship in what authorities are investigating as potential hate crimes.

Political Debate Over Gun Control Intensifies

The violence has reignited debates about gun control approaches in Canada. While politicians continue discussions about regulating legal firearms, critics argue that illegal weapons remain prevalent among criminal elements who show little fear of consequences. Police regularly seize firearms during routine traffic stops, indicating widespread illegal possession.

Peel Regional Police Chief Nishan Duraiappah emphasized that "residents and businesses should not have to live in fear of gun violence or intimidation. This will not be tolerated in our communities." However, the continuing incidents suggest enforcement challenges persist despite such commitments.

The situation has drawn comparisons to frontier justice, with one politician recently asserting "This isn't the Wild West. It's Canada," while the physical evidence of bullet-riddled homes tells a different story to affected communities. As investigations continue, residents remain concerned about the escalating pattern of targeted violence in what were previously considered safe suburban neighborhoods.
