Man Hospitalized After Late-Night Stabbing in Plateau

A 26-year-old man is recovering in hospital after a violent stabbing in Montreal's Plateau-Mont-Royal borough on Wednesday night. Montreal police (SPVM) responded to a 911 call around 10:45 p.m. on December 25, 2025, finding the victim conscious but with severe wounds to his upper body.

Emergency medical services transported the man to a local hospital. Police confirmed that despite the serious nature of his injuries, he was listed in stable condition following treatment.
