Police Respond to Emergency Call
Montreal police received a 911 call shortly before 10 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2026, reporting an injured man near the intersection of Victoria and Bourret Avenues. Police spokesperson Caroline Chèvrefils confirmed the details of the emergency response.
Officers arriving at the scene discovered the victim conscious but suffering from a wound to his lower body caused by a sharp object. "He was transported to a hospital for an injury that was not life-threatening," Chèvrefils stated in her official remarks.
