Alberta RCMP have launched a Canada-wide manhunt for a Devon man wanted in connection with what authorities describe as a disturbing sexual assault against a child.
The serious charges stem from an incident that occurred in Devon, a community approximately 40 kilometres southwest of Edmonton. Mounties from the Leduc Detachment are leading the investigation into the alleged assault.
Wanted Suspect Identified
The individual being sought by police is 28-year-old Devon resident Justin James Mclean. Authorities have obtained a warrant for his arrest on charges of sexual assault and sexual interference of a person under the age of 16.

RCMP have issued a strong public advisory regarding Mclean, describing him as potentially violent and dangerous. Police are urging members of the public to exercise extreme caution and not to approach him if spotted.
