Christopher Brown, from Silvertorne, Colorado, was having dinner and drinks with friends on Wednesday night. According to reports, he told his companions he was stepping out to buy some marijuana. His body was discovered unresponsive on Depot Rd. just after 10:30 p.m. and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities confirmed Brown sustained multiple stab wounds. A knife was found lodged in his back, as reported by the Trinidad Daily Express. Police Commissioner Allister Guevarro has confirmed that a suspect is now in custody, although a motive for the killing has not yet been established.
