7 More Wanted in Toronto Shooting of Anthony Taylor

Toronto police have identified seven additional suspects wanted in connection with the May 31 homicide of Anthony Taylor, 28. The shooting occurred in the Queen's Plate Drive and Rexdale Boulevard area around 8 p.m., where officers responded to reports of a gunshot inside an apartment building. Despite life-saving efforts, Taylor was pronounced dead at the scene, marking Toronto's 12th homicide of 2026.

Arrests and Warrants

One suspect, Ernest Gyamfy, 30, has already been arrested. However, police have now issued Canada-wide warrants for seven more individuals, each charged with second-degree murder and additional offenses.

  • Dejohn Marlin, 23, of Toronto: thin build, long curly black hair, last seen in a dark blue hooded jacket, black pants, and light blue Jordan shoes.
  • Kobina Ackon, 30, of Toronto: short black hair, glasses, goatee/beard, last seen in a white sweater, white shirt, white shorts, and white Nike Air Jordan shoes.
  • Gideon Addae, 24, of Toronto: goatee/unshaven, last seen in a black hooded Nike sweater, black pants, and black shoes. Also faces two weapons charges.
  • Lincoln Picart, 35, of Toronto: beard, last seen in a grey Puma track suit, white and black Jordan shoes, black hat with white "Sox" logo, and a chain. Also faces two weapons charges.
  • Daniel Addae, 23, of Toronto: heavy build, beard/unshaven, last seen in a black hooded sweater, grey track pants, black shoes, and a black hat with white logo.
  • Kyondre Davis, 23, of Toronto: thin build, shoulder-length dreadlocks, last seen in a grey and black track suit, black slides, white socks, and a black mask.
  • Justin Nichol, 23, of Mississauga: long braided hair, last seen in a black Adidas hoodie, blue shirt, grey track pants, white Jordan shoes, glasses, black mask, black hat with "Sox" logo, and carrying a black "Prime" backpack.
