Three hospitalized after assaults in Stanley Mission

RCMP have arrested several individuals following a series of assaults in the northern Saskatchewan community of Stanley Mission. In a news release issued Thursday, police reported receiving multiple reports of assaults that morning.

Victims hospitalized with serious injuries

According to the release, three people were taken to hospital with serious injuries. The number of suspects in custody has not been disclosed, as officers are continuing to actively investigate the incident.

“As this is an unfolding investigation, we are unable to provide any additional details at this time. We will provide an update on this investigation as soon as we are able,” the statement said.

Police monitoring public safety

RCMP stated that they will notify the public if there is an imminent safety risk. The Saskatchewan RCMP’s National Sex Offender Registry and Violent Crime Linkage Analysis Section assisted Watrous RCMP with the arrests.
