A 34-year-old man from Sault Ste. Marie is facing multiple charges after a series of alleged incidents at the same business, according to the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service.
Police say the man was arrested on Tuesday following an investigation into a string of robberies and thefts that occurred at a local business over the past several weeks.
The accused is charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of theft under $5,000, and one count of possession of stolen property. He was also charged with failing to comply with a probation order.
Police did not disclose the name of the business or the specific dates of the incidents, but confirmed that all alleged offenses took place at the same location.
The man was held in custody pending a bail hearing. The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
