Russian investigators announced on Wednesday that they have arrested at least two suspects in connection with a car bombing in Moscow. The domestic security service stated that teenagers were convinced to plant the explosive device.
Two Car Bombs in Moscow
On Tuesday, two separate car bomb incidents occurred in Moscow. The first detonated in the eastern part of the city during the morning hours, while the second was identified by security services in southwestern Moscow before it could cause harm.
Investigation into the Southwestern Bomb
Russia's Investigative Committee confirmed that a criminal case has been opened regarding the bomb in southwestern Moscow. This device was aimed at an employee of a scientific production enterprise. The exact method of detonation remains unclear.
According to the committee, the investigation revealed that a teenage girl was instructed by unidentified individuals to retrieve the bomb. She then handed it to a teenage boy, who placed it on the car along with a GPS tracker. No casualties were reported from this incident, and the suspects have been formally charged.
Eastern Moscow Bombing Claims a Life

He stated, "An explosion took place, but the details, as you understand, are not subject to disclosure in connection with the investigation that is underway. Of course, this is a matter for our special services."
