Marjorie Taylor Greene Claims Trump Showed 'No Compassion' Over Son's Death Threats
Greene: Trump Had 'No Compassion' Over Son's Death Threats

Former Congresswoman Accuses Trump of Heartless Response to Son's Death Threats

Former Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican from Georgia, has made startling allegations against Donald Trump, claiming the former president showed "no compassion" when she informed him about death threats directed at her family. These threats reportedly escalated after Trump branded Greene a "traitor" due to her advocacy for releasing the Jeffrey Epstein-related documents.

A Strained Alliance Turns Bitter

Greene, once a fervent Trump supporter who has since become a vocal critic, detailed the exchange during an interview with Piers Morgan on his "Uncensored" program. She revealed that her final communication with Trump occurred via text message following her resignation from Congress in January, amid his public attacks against her.

"The only time I reached out to him was via text message after I had resigned and he had been attacking me and I was receiving, just, I can’t even count how many death threats," Greene stated during the broadcast, which is available on YouTube. She emphasized that the threats "escalated on one of my children," prompting her to alert multiple high-ranking officials.

Escalating Threats and Official Alerts

According to Greene, she forwarded the menacing messages to FBI Director Kash Patel, Vice President JD Vance, and other top White House figures in an effort to address the security concerns. "I even texted the president and I was so upset over death threats on my children because of him," she claimed, explaining that she wanted Trump to understand the real-world consequences of his rhetoric.

However, Greene asserted that Trump's reaction was far from sympathetic. "He was very unkind about these death threats. And so that was our last exchange was on text message," she recounted, painting a picture of a relationship irreparably damaged by the incident.

Trump's Alleged Response and Greene's Reaction

When Morgan pressed for specifics on Trump's reply, Greene disclosed a shocking claim. "He basically blamed me," she said. "He had no compassion for death threats on my children. He blamed me basically that if my son were to get killed, it would be my fault."

Greene expressed profound disappointment, noting that she had told Trump "no one’s children should ever be the victim of death threats or have any kind of political violence brought on them because of our politics, because of our disagreements." Yet, she insisted he "had no compassion whatsoever."

This response, Greene described, was "like a nail in the coffin" and "tells me exactly who Donald Trump is." She contrasted Trump's alleged behavior with that of her political adversaries, stating, "Some of my biggest political enemies would never say that to me. Democrats that I may have had disagreements with in Congress would have never said that to me. No one’s ever said those type of words to me."

Reflections on Character and Compassion

In her closing remarks, Greene expressed bewilderment at Trump's purported lack of empathy. "I don’t know what kind of person basically has no compassion or care to someone’s child being threatened to be killed," she said. "It’s just, it’s unimaginable really."

This revelation adds another layer to the complex and often tumultuous relationship between Greene and Trump, highlighting deep personal and political rifts that have emerged from their disagreements over the Epstein files and other issues. The allegations underscore ongoing concerns about political violence and the responsibilities of public figures in mitigating such risks.
