Delta Business Sprayed with Gunfire in Targeted Shooting

Police in Delta are investigating after a business was sprayed with gunfire in the early-morning hours of Saturday. The incident occurred shortly after 3:30 a.m. in the 8200-block of 120th Street, according to Delta police.

Officers arrived at the scene to find shell casings and confirmed that several shots had been fired into the business, which was unoccupied at the time. No injuries were reported.

While the incident appears to be targeted, police have not yet determined whether it is connected to a recent string of extortion-related shootings in the Lower Mainland. Investigators are currently canvassing the area for video evidence and speaking with potential witnesses.
