Italian police authorities documented three separate episodes at different locations early Saturday morning. These acts of sabotage resulted in substantial delays for both high-speed and regional train services, with some passengers experiencing disruptions lasting up to two and a half hours. The area around the major transportation hub of Bologna was particularly affected by the infrastructure attacks.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported from these incidents, and no trains sustained physical damage during the sabotage operations. The disruptions primarily affected scheduling and operational efficiency across the regional rail network.

In a statement circulated through online channels, the anarchist group explained their rationale for targeting railway infrastructure. The statement declared: "It therefore seems necessary to adopt clandestine methods, decentralise the conflict and multiply its fronts, and turn to self-defence and sabotage in order to survive the times ahead."
