FIFA has released pricing for accessible parking at Toronto Stadium during the 2026 World Cup, setting the cost at $74.99 per game. The fee includes all taxes and fees, and passes must be purchased in advance through FIFA's website. A valid match ticket is required to complete the transaction.
Accessible Parking Details
The designated accessible parking is located in Lot 2, south of the stadium. FIFA confirmed that all seven matches in Toronto carry the same $74.99 price tag. Standard parking rates and availability have not yet been announced for the tournament.
Comparison to Regular Event Parking
BMO Field's standard game-day rates are significantly lower: $30 for Toronto FC matches, $25 for Toronto Argonauts games, and $15 for general events. However, the site notes prices can vary due to other events at Exhibition Place. For instance, parking during a recent Imagine Dragons concert cost $30.
Exhibition Place offers 88 wheelchair-accessible spaces across surface lots and the indoor garage.
Global Parking Price Comparison
Toronto's $75 fee may seem steep, but it pales in comparison to other World Cup venues. In San Francisco, rates range from $137.95 to $203.45, with a 14–21 minute walk to the stadium. At the New York New Jersey venue in East Rutherford, parking costs $225 and is nearly a mile away. The most expensive is Los Angeles, where parking for the U.S. vs. Paraguay match reaches $300 and is 2.7 km from the stadium.
Ticket Availability and Costs
Ticket prices have also drawn criticism. As of Friday, hundreds of tickets remain for Canada's opening match against Bosnia and Herzegovina on June 12. Category 1 seats cost $3,135, Category 2 are $2,300, and Category 3 are $1,370.
Public Transit Alternatives
To avoid parking hassles, fans can use public transit. Metrolinx will increase GO Transit service on the Lakeshore West line, operating up to six trains per hour between Exhibition GO and Union Station. Frequent 15-minute service will run on both Lakeshore East and West lines starting June 10. The TTC also plans enhanced service, tested during a recent event with 45,000 attendees at BMO Field and 41,000 at Rogers Centre.
