54-40 and Econoline Crush to Headline Taste of Edmonton 2026

The Taste of Edmonton festival has announced its outdoor concert lineup for 2026, featuring Canadian music icons 54-40 and Econoline Crush. The 11-day food and music event runs from July 16 to 26 on Churchill Square, rain or shine.

Econoline Crush kicks off the festivities on Thursday, July 16, with an 8:30 p.m. performance. The Vancouver band recently impressed audiences at a Live show at Rogers Place. Closing out the musical lineup on Saturday, July 25, is 54-40, known for hits like One Gun, Walk in Line, and I Go Blind. Their set begins at 9 p.m.

Between these headliners, a diverse mix of artists will perform. Calgary-based Saskatchewan country singer Brayden King takes the stage on July 17. Local cover band Uptown, with over 400 songs in their repertoire, performs on July 18. John Hewitt & the New Americans play on July 19, followed by the danceable Mbira Renaissance Band on July 20.

Local indie rock band King of Foxes headlines on July 21, while Journey tribute band Stone in Love performs on July 22. British Columbia country singer Tyler Shaw plays on July 23, and Edmonton rock band Whale and the Wolf performs on July 24.

All concerts are free of charge. Friday and Saturday headliners start at 9 p.m., while other days begin at 8:30 p.m. Earlier performances, including music, dance, and taekwondo demonstrations, start at 5 p.m. daily. Notable early acts include pop-punk band The Real Sickies on July 20 at 7:15 p.m. and folk duo Jed and the Valentine on July 21 at 6 p.m.

The festival also features 49 food and drink vendors, open from 11 a.m. daily. Sundays through Thursdays, they close at 9 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays, they stay open an hour later. On the final Sunday, July 26, hours are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Presale food ticket sheets of 40 are available for $59.50 until July 14, a $10 discount from regular price. Tickets can be purchased at tasteofedm.ca.
