Australian homeware company Porter Green has launched its signature silicone drinkware collection in Canada, just as outdoor living season begins. The collection, created by sisters Jane Cox and Mary Warnest, is made in Australia and features lightweight, unbreakable glasses designed for portability.

The drinkware is made from FDA-approved food-grade silicone, making it dishwasher safe, reusable, stain resistant, odourless, and flavourless. Cox emphasized that the glasses are "durable and designed to go wherever life takes you." The collection includes a range of colours, from neutrals to brights, to fit any setting.
Brand Evolution and Availability
Since its founding in 2018, Porter Green has expanded to over 1,500 outlets internationally, including Galeries Lafayette in Paris and the Peggy Guggenheim Museum in Venice. The company is women-owned and family-run, based in Melbourne, Australia. In Canada, the collection is available through the Porter Green Canada website (portergreen.ca) and select local stores listed on the site.
Cox noted that the Canadian launch was driven by local distributors who discovered the product themselves and approached the company. "They bought the product for themselves and loved it so much they approached us to distribute the collection here," she said. The launch has seen "immediate traction," according to Cox.

A standout item is the swepp long-stemmed wine glass, which features a metal stem for stability and a 480 ml capacity. It was featured in the Super Bowl LX Gifting Suite and a recent Hard Rock VIP event. The drinkware collection retails between $30 and $60.
Cox described the target customer as someone seeking "a stylish, yet functional product that alleviates the hassle of broken glass." The glasses are suitable for various settings, including the pool, beach, outdoor entertaining, boating, camping, bachelorette parties, and snowmobiling.
