Punnichy RCMP are seeking tips from the public following an assault on the Muskowekwan First Nation that left a man with life-threatening injuries. The incident occurred on June 10, 2026, and police were called to the scene at approximately 9:30 p.m. CST.

Details of the Assault

Upon arrival, officers found a 35-year-old man suffering from serious injuries. He was transported to hospital in critical condition. The victim's identity has not been released. Police believe the assault was targeted and not random.

Investigation Ongoing

RCMP have not yet made any arrests. Investigators are canvassing the area and reviewing surveillance footage. They are urging anyone with information to come forward. The Muskowekwan First Nation is located approximately 100 kilometers north of Regina.
