Brampton Teen Found Murdered on Saskatchewan Reserve

Jay'siiah Webb-Long's short life ended thousands of kilometers from his home in Brampton, Ontario. The 16-year-old last connected with his family over social media on May 16, 2025, and was later reported missing to Peel Regional Police.

By July, Saskatchewan RCMP had deemed Webb-Long's disappearance suspicious. On Monday, police announced that a planned search near the remote community of Pelican Narrows, population 2,100, conducted on May 13, uncovered a body. The remains have been identified as Webb-Long, and police confirmed the boy was murdered.

The reserve is located 500 kilometers northeast of Saskatoon. The teen had been living on the reserve at the time of his disappearance. According to police, Webb-Long's family has been notified of the discovery.
